About Us
The Kingston Running Club is the group that sponsors the Annual Kingston Fourth of July Fun Run. We also support the Cross Country teams of Kingston and North Kitsap High Schools. We are run entirely by volunteers who not only have an interest in running, but who are moms and dads and community activists who care deeply about the health and fellowship of their families and their fellow townspeople.
We are located in Kingston, Washington, a sleepy little ferry town on the north end of the Kitsap Peninsula. It's on the west end of the Kingston-Edmonds ferry route, which takes walk-ons and bicyclists, as well as cars and their drivers. Our 4th of July Fun Run starts at Kingston Fitness at the corner of West Kingston Road and Barber Cutoff Road, and ends at Kingston Village Green, which is on West Kingston Road between the ferry and Kingston Fitness (just about 3 blocks from the ferry dock), so folks from across the water can leave their cars on the Edmonds side to save on the fare and the lines.
